Coaches: Led by the highly skilled and passionate Head Coach, Harry Morgan, highest rank 20th in England for men's singles, our program boasts a team of three coaches in each session. This ensures that every player receives ample help and encouragement to reach their full potential.
Technical Development: Our coaching sessions emphasise the technical aspects of badminton, instilling a strong foundation in every player. Participants will learn and refine essential skills such as grips, footwork, racket control, effective shot execution (both overarm and underarm), and tactical strategies. The curriculum progressively challenges players, ensuring continuous improvement and mastery of the game's nuances.
Cost: Each session costs £11.75, making our program not only enriching but also affordable for families seeking quality badminton coaching. We believe in providing exceptional value ensuring that our program remains accessible without compromising on quality.
Parent-Friendly Atmosphere: Parents are encouraged to stay and watch their young athletes' progress, enjoying a comfortable viewing area with complimentary tea and coffee. We strive to create a positive and inclusive atmosphere, with background music adding an extra layer of enjoyment.
Facilities: Sessions take place in a spacious 4-court hall with a wooden spring-loaded floor, regularly cleaned to maintain a pristine playing surface.
Equipment Provided: For those without their own rackets, worry not! We supply rackets and shuttles to ensure that every participant has the necessary equipment for a fulfilling badminton experience.
All Ages Welcome: Our program is inclusive, welcoming participants of all ages. Whether your child is taking their first steps in badminton or aiming to refine advanced skills, our coaching program offers a tailored approach to meet individual needs.
The Academy Program: Focused on helping junior players develop their skills, our academy program offers three weekly sessions for advanced players, including those pushing into county level and nation level. Additionally, we provide an extra session each week for developing players aspiring to advance to county-level play in the future.
